CAROLINE AYAHAO-BINUHE, DDM

Dr. Carol earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of the East, Manila in 2001 and has been practicing general dentistry since 2002. She challenged the National Dental Examining Board of Canada Equivalency with faith and grit and was conferred the certificate to practice General Dentistry in 2019. She has been working in different dental offices in Metro Vancouver before she acquired Gleneagle Dental Centre in the Summer of 2022 and rebranded it to CB DENTAL STUDIO. She is a conscientious dentist whose practice is focused on minimally invasive dentistry through the Art of Science, Skills, Passion, and Imagination while Creating Beautiful and Resilient Smiles!

Her background in nursing makes her treatment approach holistic, imbued with care and compassion. On a personal note, her dental experiences as a patient herself makes her understand your fears and concerns. She and her team pride themselves in making the dental office a friendly, calm and welcoming atmosphere while eliminating the “fear of going to the dentist” by putting their patients’ safety, comfort and satisfaction as their priority.

She loves to see the transformation of her patients’ smiles that bring back self-confidence in them, and to Dr. Carol, that is what she defines success in her practice! She encourages her patients to participate in their oral health care and emphasizes that it is crucial to address the underlying cause of the problem in order to have a more stable bite and long-lasting restoration. She is always motivated to learn so she can know better and do better as a dentist and as an individual. In order to continuously provide high quality and comprehensive care to her valued patients, and to keep abreast with new treatment approach, dental materials and evolving technology, she invests in continuing education and trainings locally and abroad. She furthers her learning at the KOIS Center, NEJAD Institute, Progressive Orthodontic Seminars and the Bioclear Learning Center among others.

On the other side of the coin, Carol is an adventurous and an easy-going person. She finds time to relax with family and friends, especially with her husband and their two daughters. She embraces diversity, loves to travel, enjoys the outdoors, nature photography, and tending to her indoor plants!

LIZA, Certified Dental Assistant

With over a decade of experience in the dental field, she can easily put you at ease while preparing you for your dental procedure. She is reliable and dedicated to her work as she maintains all instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms sanitized for every patient. In her spare time, she enjoys bonding with her family and her beloved golden retriever, Cooper!

ELIZABETH, Registered Dental Hygienist

Liz, graduated with a Bachelor’s from the UBC Dental Hygiene Degree Program in 2015. She enjoys working with each patient to achieve optimal oral health while creating a positive and personable experience during their appointments. She is a member of the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association and continues to stay updated on current research to provide the highest standard of care possible. Outside of work, she loves travelling, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Monica, Registered Dental Hygienist

Monica, a Registered Dental Hygienist from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene. She finds joy in connecting with patients and creating a positive dental experience. As a member of CDHA, she stays updated through online courses to ensure she has the latest knowledge in her field. In her free time, she enjoys playing badminton, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

CHELSEA, Admin Coordinator

Her education as a public health student, background in customer relations and her personal experiences as a patient herself makes her understand your concern and fear of going to the dentist. That is why she is dedicated to making your visit a 5-star experience with her cheerful and meticulous personality. She is here to create raving fans at CB Dental Studio! When she is not in the office, you can find her travelling, visiting various mom-and-pop shops and restaurants in Greater Vancouver, and spending time with her cat, Kuro.

AKIKO, Office Admin Treatment Coordinator

She is a versatile team member, well-versed as a patient care coordinator and a patient care provider. She strives to make a positive change in our patients’ lives by assisting you with your dental needs whether it’s regarding your pre-determination, insurance claim or providing you with utmost care alongside with the dentist treating you. She is dedicated to taking the next level in providing ultimate patient care experience, hence she is constantly looking for ways to improve. In her spare time, she likes to explore new places like parks and food spots with her husband and children.
